Helen Nafziger is one of the co-founders of the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival and was the manager/coordinator during its first nine years.
She is retired as a Private Career Counselor and for 22 years was Director of Career Services at Eastern Mennonite University earning certifications as Master Career Counselor and National Certified Counselor.
As an actor, she has had lead and supportive roles in play productions, since 2004, mostly through the Valley Playhouse in Harrisonburg.
Her degrees include an M.A. in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University, an M.Ed. from the University of Oregon, and a B.S. from Goshen College.
She is married to Ken, the Festival’s artistic director. They have three children (Jeremy and Zac Nafziger and Kirsten Moore) and eight grandchildren.
